Welcome to Megalmar rotts, we are a small but lively kennel located in Warwickshire.

My love for Rottweilers started at an early age when my family took regular holidays with friends who owned a Rottweiler. I spent most of my holiday swimming in the sea with the dog who would regularly puncture our dinghy while attempting to get in it with us.

Megalmar was then founded in 1992 when we purchased our first rottweiler Megan. She became the foundation from which most of our dogs today decend.

Our main k9 hobby is showing the dogs and we have had some great success in the show ring but first and formost our dogs are our beloved pets. Our dogs live wihin our home and not in kennels.

We breed litters occasionally & details of any forthcoming litters can be found on our puppy page. We do not breed dogs for any other reason than family pets or show dogs. Any dogs we breed would be useless guard dogs.
All the dogs we breed from are KC/BVA Hip scored (see links page to verify the results.) and DNA profiled.

We are members of the Kennel Clubs accredited breeder scheme and all our dogs are tested for any breed specific genetic problems. All the dogs we breed from have sound temperaments as do the stud dogs we own and use.
